Walter Lowe, M.D., is Chairman and Professor of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston, Edward T. Smith Professor and Chair, and the Chief of Orthopedic Surgery at Memorial Hermann – Texas Medical Center and LBJ General Hospital. He is also the Medical Director of the Memorial Hermann Sports Medicine Institute. Dr. Lowe specializes in Sports Medicine with an emphasis on diagnosing and treating a wide range of knee, shoulder, and elbow injuries and disorders. Dr. Lowe is an Adjunct Professor, Department of Orthopedic Surgery for the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. Dr. Lowe is the former Director of Baylor Sports Medicine Fellowship and the former Chief of the Sports Medicine Section.
